MEP Tonino Picula organized a panel discussion and an exhibition dedicated to cravat in 2015, in cooperation with Academia Cravatica, with one aim: to help declare the European Cravat Day. An exhibition featured more than 50 works related to cravat and was opened along with the honorary Kravat regiment and is one of the most impressive exhibitions ever seen in the European Parliament.
On the World Cravat Day, 18th October, Picula expressed his support again.
