Croatian MEP Tonino Picula is currently in Montenegro as standing Rapporteur of the European Parliament for Montenegro. This is Parliament's first visit to Montenegro since his appointment as rapporteur for the European Parliament last October. Today, Mr. Picula met on the premises of the Croatian National Council with representatives of the Croatian national minority in Montenegro.
MEP Picula expressed his pleasure for coming to Tivat and meeting with representatives of the Croatian national minority. He also emphasized the desire for more frequent meetings and offered support and assistance to Croats in Montenegro.
